Urethral stricture
Urethral stricture is a narrowing of the urethra, or the tube that drains urine from the bladder to the outside of your body. The condition usually occurs when skin is pulled over a muscle, scar tissue forms and develops around it, or the muscles contract causing an increase in pressure inside the urethra.

The symptoms include pain during urination, and sometimes even blood in the urine. The doctor will give you a rectoscope to see if there’s a blockage, which will allow them to take x-rays or perform other tests to determine what’s going on.
